Comparison
KinopiQ and B Lab’s B Impact platform
B Lab's own platform is free, it is genuinely good at the B Corp job, and it is where you actually submit. If B Corp is the only standard you answer to, it may be all you need. This page is about the case where it isn't.

The short version
When you need both, and when you don’t
You probably do not need KinopiQ
If B Corp is the only standard your company answers to, and you are happy working directly in B Lab’s platform, it does the job and it is free. We would rather say that here than have you find it out after paying us.
You probably do need something more
If you also hold ISO 14001, report under GRI, or expect to answer to UK SRS, then B Lab’s platform covers one of those and nothing else. The usual result is separate evidence packs per standard, each rebuilt from a shared drive every year, with the same employee handbook and the same emissions inventory copied into all of them.
KinopiQ keeps one record. A document attached to a B Corp fair-work requirement is there to link against the equivalent GRI disclosure, and both point at the same file.
And if you do this for other people
B Lab’s platform assumes you are the company being certified. If you take several clients through certification, that assumption costs you a login per client and any view across the portfolio. The consultant setup is the same product with a workspace per client.
What we will never claim
KinopiQ does not certify anyone, does not submit to B Lab, and does not influence a certification decision. B Lab certifies B Corps. We help you arrive prepared.
Answering to more than one standard?
Tell us which ones and we will set you up with a workspace that covers them together.
